Seattle Death Doulas

The practice

One practitioner. One conversation at a time.

Seattle Death Doulas is a small, deliberate practice led by Zac Reichert, M.A. The intention is not to scale fast. It's to walk slowly, with a small number of families at a time, and to do it well.

Seattle Death Doulas

Seattle + Puget Sound

A psychologist and coach who came to end-of-life work through a lifetime of loss, beginning with the death of his father in childhood. Zac has grieved and buried family members, sat with the dying, and served as the executor of his grandfather's will. He brings that deeply personal experience together with the study of psychology and years of coaching people through life's hardest transitions, leading with compassion and a steady, unhurried presence. Currently completing foundational doula training and accepting a small number of first families, including pro-bono and sliding-scale work.
